Step One

Choose one or more of the techniques we discussed in which you would like to explore further.

1. Double Imagery
2. Color
3. Movement
4. 3D optics

Step Two

Consider which artist you like the most out of the section of "Op Artist" and study the various ways they use lines, shape, and color to make their illusions apparent. Once you looked around, make some rough sketches of their art works on a piece of paper. Once you feel that you understand how they made their illusions and how they work, begin to brainstorm your own ideas.

Step Three

Using the medium of your choice (Paint Program, Paints, Colored Pencils, etc) design a work of art that applies one or more of the Optical Illusion techniques that were discussed in class. Do not begin your work until you view the evaluation and conclusion so that you know what you should strive to achieve.
